    The node panel enables developers to configure specific shape parts.

    The user interface

     

    The node panel contains these controls:

    Control Action Remarks
    Open a list with all available lights. Select a new light with a double click.
    ▢ Pre-rendered If enabled, first, this node is rendered, next the children. By default, the children are rendered at first.
    ▢ Sorted rendering If enabled, all child nodes will be sorted by their center distance and rendered from far to near. Useful for multiple interior glas or windows.
    ▢ No rendering If enabled, this node will not be rendered.
    ▢ Hidden If enabled, this node will not be rendered and not hit by the raytracer.
    ▢ Force opacity If enabled, tells the node that it is translucent. Important for the raytracer hit search. Enable it if the texture is translucent.
    ▢ No raytracing If enabled, this node will not be hit by the raytracer. Useful for interior glas or windows.
    ⭿ Minimum distance The required minimum distance to render this node.
    ⭿ Maximum distance The allowed maximum distance to render this node.
    ▭ Detach from Animation Opens the window to detach all animations contained in this node and all children.

    The new animation layer window

    This window has these controls:

    Control Action Remarks
    ⌨ Animation Layer Name Enter the name for the new animation layer.
    ▭ Detach Detach all animations contained in the first layer to a new or existing animation layer.

    If there is no animation or the name text box is empty, no animation layer will be created. If the animation layer exists already, the animations will be assigned to the animation layer.
